Now, the BCB is moving into the next chapter of digital finance with DREX, the digital version of the Real. DREX isn’t just digital money, it’s a blockchain-based infrastructure designed to bring asset tokenization, such as real estate and bonds, into everyday life. Through smart contracts, it enables secure, programmable transactions.
