We built KleverChain on a secure and efficient architecture, using a Proof of Stake consensus mechanism with 21 validators. The system randomly selects these validators among masternodes for the consensus group in each Epoch. So, validators who exhibit bad behavior will be jailed and temporarily excluded from the selection pool. To ensure network reliability and resilience, KleverChain employs a customized version of the Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) algorithm, which guarantees fast block confirmations.
