We are thrilled to announce that KleverNFT is taking a significant step towards becoming decentralized. Starting March 13th, 2023, moreover, KleverNFT will operate as an open space for all collections and creators who wish to create their NFTs on KleverChain.

Major Move Towards Decentralization

This move toward complete decentralization is a significant achievement that will allow more freedom for creators and developers. Furthermore, we are proud to be at the forefront of the decentralization movement and believe that this change will allow us to better serve the community and enable creators to achieve their goals.

To enable us to focus on creating a fully decentralized platform, we will be closing the KleverNFT launchpad on March 31st, 2023. We are proud of the work we have done with the launchpad and are delighted to have helped projects succeed. However, we believe that our focus should be on creating a decentralized platform to allow any project and creator to list on an open marketplace for KleverChain.

Transitioning to a Decentralized Marketplace

We will be removing Verified Badges and introducing KleverChain native verified badges, which are more secure and reliable. Consequently, collections that wish to verify their status should directly submit their request to the Klever Foundation.

In addition, we will be reducing fees to just 2%. This move aims to simplify NFT sales for creators by reducing concerns about high fees. The fees will cover the costs of maintaining the decentralized platform.

To maintain a fully decentralized approach, we will remove Rarity Score and filters. Our team created these features to help users find the most valuable NFTs, but to maintain a fully decentralized approach without any interference from our former team, we will need to remove them. With further KleverChain upgrades on the main net, new native features will be available to KleverNFT users.

Adopting a Purely Decentralized Approach

We are also introducing a report collections feature to help the community identify and remove any collections that violate the platform’s terms of service. The Klever Support Team will analyze reports submitted by users. In the future, we will evaluate the possibility of allowing KFI holders to vote on collection removal requests.

Introducing Community Reporting Features

We will continue supporting the Benefits and Rewards protocol solely for previous collections using the KleverNFT Launchpad.

We’re excited about these steps toward a decentralized system and, furthermore, supporting the KleverChain NFT community in the future. Thank you for your continued support.
