MoonPay Launches Peer-to-Peer Bank Transfers in Nigeria

We proudly announce the launch of a new African MoonPay initiative that aims to increase crypto adoption in the region. As part of this initiative, MoonPay has added support for Peer-to-Peer Bank Transfers, a bank transfer payment method for Nigeria. It makes it easier for users in the region to purchase cryptocurrency.

We are excited to share that this new payment method is available for users of Klever Wallet, one of the most trusted and popular crypto wallets in Nigeria. Klever Wallet users can now enjoy reduced friction and a common way to purchase cryptocurrency using MoonPay’s P2P Bank Transfers.

To enable this new payment method, MoonPay has partnered with pan-African FinTech company YellowCard, which will support them across Africa. In addition, MoonPay has introduced an innovative document-less KYC solution leveraging governmental databases. This solution will allow users to onboard faster and more safely with MoonPay, by providing their Bank Verification Number (BVN).

We commit to making cryptocurrency more accessible and convenient for everyone. We are thrilled to offer this new payment method to our Nigerian Klever community.

Once you’ve purchased your crypto assets via MoonPay on Klever Wallet, you can also consider storing them offline and securely in a KleverSafe hardware wallet device.

Klever provides its users with a secure and user-friendly interface for purchasing and storing cryptocurrency. So, with Moonpay’s new payment method and Klever Wallet’s advanced security features, you can purchase and store your crypto assets with confidence.
